Up market boutique hotel the Andaz London Liverpool Street is encouraging couples to get amorous this Valentine’s Day after launching a special romance package inspired by the slang term ‘Netflix and chill’.
Used regularly among youth, ‘Netflix and chill’ is a euphemism for an evening of staying indoors. Movies and box sets are optional.
In time for Valentine’s Day, the swanky Andaz is offering a similar experience through its ‘Bed, Flicks and Chill’ package.
It combines movies, alcohol and gourmet popcorn, so that couples can enjoy watching their favourite films in luxury.
The offer includes unlimited in-room movies, a chilled bottle of Prosecco and a full English breakfast.
Guests have access to a complimentary mini bar that includes Joe & Seph’s Gin & Tonic gourmet popcorn.
The hotel’s in-room movie library includes new releases, such as the BAFTA winning Steve Jobs, Mad Max: Fury Road and Bridge of Spies as well as an array of titles including The Martian, Spectre, Magic Mike XXL and Trainwreck.
The hotel is also offering a 2pm late checkout, as well as 25 per cent off room service and health club treatments.
The Bed, Flicks and Chill package will be available all weekend from February 12 to 14.
