A$AP ROCKY ATTACKED AT PULLMAN HOTEL

An altercation involving US rapper A$AP Rocky at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland on Wednesday night resulted in at least one arrest and a hospitalisation.

The ‘F**kin’ Problems’ hitmaker had performed his Auckland show at Vector Arena and was entering an elevator in the hotel with a group of women around 3am when a group of men also wanted to get in.

When the rapper said there wasn’t enough room, a scuffle broke out.

Police have confirmed a 35-year-old man appeared in the Auckland District Court charged with assault, assault with intent to injure and resisting police, and will reappear in court on March 17.

Police were called to the hotel at approximately 3.15am after reports of the altercation.

Eyewitnesses claim to have seen two people arrested. A member of A$AP Rocky’s team was taken to hospital, but soon released.
