Crown Perth has welcomed Damian O’Donnell as the newly appointed general manager for Crown Metropol Perth.
Bringing a wealth of experience in the hotel and hospitality fields, O’Donnell has recently moved to Perth from Melbourne after spending time as hotel manager at the five-star Crown Towers Melbourne. In his new role he will be responsible for Crown Perth Hotel’s luxurious five-star Crown Metropol Perth.
Prior to this he has held integral positions internationally and domestically with companies such as Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Evason Hideaway, Hayman Island Resort, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Gore Hotel London, Princess Cruises Limited and Rydges.

With his passion for hospitality and motivation to continually exceed guests’ expectations, O’Donnell looks forward to becoming part of the Crown Metropol Perth team during this exciting time of growth within the Crown Perth Hotels portfolio. Crown continues to be a significant investor in West Australian tourism infrastructure and will open its third hotel property Crown Towers Perth in December this year bringing the total number of rooms available at the resort to just under 1200.
O’Donnell will commence his role at Crown Perth in May.
