CONSISTENCY IS KEY FOR KIWI TRAVELLERS

Hotels.com has released their Hotel Price Index data, revealing that Kiwis are remarkably regular when it comes to travel destinations. Australia once again dominates the list of top ten destinations of 2016 – a list which saw only one change from 2015.

Melbourne and Sydney were clear winners, with the Gold Coast and Brisbane coming in at fifth and eighth. Honolulu and Las Vegas were presenting the US at numbers three and five, with New York having been bumped out of the top ten by Brisbane. London also scraped in, securing the last place.

“New flight routes are opening up different corners of the world , and Kiwis are becoming spoiled for choice,” said David Spasovic, Marketing Manager for Hotels.com. “Despite their regular movements over the last couple of years, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled on how Kiwis’ travel habits might change in 2017.”
