Regional Tourism New Zealand (RTNZ) is reminding inbound tour companies to ‘save the date’ for the annual RTONZ-Inbound Trade event. It will be held on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12 April 2018 at the Heritage Hotel, Auckland.
“Last year we had a number of inbound companies from out of Auckland travel to the event, so we want to give them as much advance notice of the date”, comments RTNZ Executive Officer, Charlie Ives. Inbound companies are invited to EITHER one of the two days, as they will be exactly the same.
The annual event is managed by the Regional Tourism New Zealand. It provides a forum for industry professionals from the inbound sector to be updated on the latest product information from New Zealand’s regions, provided by 27 attending regional tourism organisations.
“The timing of the event, which is only a month before TRENZ, gives inbound companies the opportunity to have the latest regional product information in time for TRENZ”, adds Charlie.
Last year the event attracted a record 130 senior inbound management staff from 53 different inbound companies. Organisers are expecting the 2018 event to be equally well attended

Senior decision makers from inbound travel businesses are invited to attend the event on one of the two days. Early expressions of interest are welcomed by email. Full registration details will be made available in February.
