Canadian vehicle manufacturer Electra Meccanica has partnered with DoubleTree by Hilton as part of its 'MY STAY. MY CAR.' Program. Guests staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria can now choose to book an electric SOLO car with their rooms, for an additional $20 per night.
The booking also comes with a complimentary car park, with the hotel also providing two charging stations to keep cars powered. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria had previously become the first hotel to offer a ridesharing service to its guests.
The car being offered Electra Meccanica’s SOLO car, priced at just under CAD 20,000, is a single passenger electric car, designed with commuting in mind.
