Langham Hospitality Group has appointed Stefan Leser as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Born in Germany, Leser has nearly 30 years’ experience in the travel and hospitality industries. His new role will see him based in Hong Kong where he will oversee all aspects of the group’s portfolio of hotels, resorts and residences, and provide strategic guidance to the company leading its drive for global expansion.
Leser has previously worked as CEO of the Jumeirah Group, where he was also a member of the board of directors. Before that he spent ten years as at Swiss travel services provider, Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd, as executive vice president.
“Langham Hospitality Group has a solid reputation with a fine collection of hotels in four continents,” said Leser.
“The company is definitely ripe for expansion into new markets, and I look forward to leading the team to deliver highly personalised service and support the future growth of the group’s outstanding portfolio of hotels and residences.”
