IHG has opened its first avid property, avid hotel Oklahoma City-Quail Springs. Just 199 days after the brand’s development, and the first property is already open.
Owned and operated by Champion Hotels, the IHG’s avid hotel brand is targeted at the mainstream hotel market.
“Opening our first avid hotels property less than a year after the brand launch is an important milestone for IHG. We worked closely with our Owner Advisory Board, including leading owners such as Champion Hotels, to develop a brand that is just right for both guests and owners,” IHG chief executive officer of the Americas said.
Every avid hotel will be a new build. The chain is priding itself on its high-quality sleep experience as well as first class breakfast offerings.
