The first Waldorf Astoria hotel in South East Asia has opened in Bangkok. The luxury property features six food and beverage venues, including a rooftop venue on the 55th floor, as well as a wellness spa, an outdoor infinity pool and elegant meeting and wedding venues. Just two minutes’ walk from the city’s train station, the hotel is within eyesight of the CBD's renowned shopping centres.

“With the Asia Pacific enjoying a golden age of travel, we are witnessing unprecedented demand for our brands and are creating some of the world’s greatest luxury hotels,” said Alan Watts, president, Hilton, Asia Pacific.

“As the first Waldorf Astoria in South East Asia, the opening of Waldorf Astoria Bangkok adds a much-anticipated chapter to the brand’s story in Asia. It builds on our series of iconic Waldorf Astoria hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, while prefacing the arrival of additional unforgettable Waldorf Astoria hotels in the near future.”

Acclaimed Hong Kong architects AFSO designed the hotel 60-storey building, with the interiors handled by Bull & Bear.
