Craggy Range Winery has been recognised at the Hawke’s Bay Tourism Awards, picking up Best Accommodation in the small provider category. The judges at the event described the venue as “a truly Hawke’s Bay quality experience.”
Craggy’s Range accommodation is located inside the Giants Winery complex. It boasts four boutique one and two-bedroom cottages intertwined among Chardonnay vines as well as a luxury lodge with views of the Tuki Tuki River.
“We are delighted to be recognised as a leader in luxury Hawke’s Bay accommodation. We are proud to represent this region, and the award reflects our aspirations to deliver a truly memorable world-class experience to visitors to Hawke’s Bay. The investment we are making in expanding our accommodation demonstrates our commitment to developing and growing the luxury travel experience in Hawke’s Bay,” said Craggy Range hospitality manager Kristine Kilpatrick.
The award coincides with Craggy Range’s new expansion project which will feature two new Garden Cottages as well as two new luxury lodges. The Garden Cottages open for booking in January 2019 and the two-bedroom river lodges open in March 2019. After the developments, Craggy Range will hold 19 rooms across nine different properties.
Another major winner at the awards was Black Barn Vineyards and Retreat who won the Supreme Award and large accommodation provider categories.
