Finolhu in Baa Atol, the Maldives, has unveiled Beach Bubble tents for one-night-only experiences under the stars by the ocean in an experience called ‘Dream Eclipses’. These new tents have popped up in the Maldives in line with the fast-growing trend for avant-garde forms of ‘glamping’. Guests experience a close-to-nature feel by the water’s edge with the comfort of secure, high-spec designed accommodation and protection from airborne insects. The design of the transparent inflatable bubble was created by professionals at Eye In The Sky and is UV-protected, fully waterproof and climate-controlled; constructed using high tech, super-strong polyester fabric.
Beach Bubble tents are an exclusive worldwide patented Précontraint Serge Ferrari technology and have distinctive properties in terms of dimensional stability and lightweight nature, resistance, eliminating deformation due to load, and offer longer wear. Interiors have custom-fitted wooden floors and feature bespoke furnishings. Each tent is fitted with a separate bubble bathroom with a toilet and shower. Given its secluded location, to provide guests with security, guards are posted at the location from evening until morning and guests are provided with a personal butler.
