Heritage Queenstown has been announced as a finalist in the 2018 Westpac Queenstown Business Awards in the Resort College Employer of the Year category.
“We are delighted to be a finalist in the awards’ employer category. An engaged team of staff are a huge asset for a hotel. Every one of our staff is an ambassador regardless of what hotel operations role they have,” said Mike Garvey, general manager, Heritage Queenstown.
Placing as a finalist in the Queenstown Resort College Employer of the Year category is no small accomplishment in a region that has three million visitors per year and over 30 resorts.
Open since 1996, Heritage Queenstown is located right beneath the mountains and has previously won awards for its Icon Room which caters up to 200 elegates.
