STR’s preliminary data for hotels in Sydney in October 2018 showed occupancy and RevPAR decrease. The analysis suggested supply in the city was outweighing demand.
Compared year-on-year to October 2017, supply had increased 3.5 percent, occupancy decreased by 1.8 percent (now 84.9 percent), ADR increased 0.3 percent to AUD$240.14, RevPAR decreased by 1.5 percent to AUD$203.93.
