Glendeer Lodge, a five-star rated property near Timaru, has been placed on the market for sale.
The lodge on the southern outskirts of Timaru is a purpose-built, three-bedroom property that’s been running for 13-years, with nightly rates ranging from $199 to $260 per room. The property has earned a five-star rating under the Qualmark accreditation programme.
“Glendeer Lodge has been structured in such a way as to cater for the upper tier of free, independent travellers – above your standard bed and breakfast or motel type operation, but just below the exclusive boutique high-end $1000-plus a night lodge strata,” said Sue Morton, salesperson for Bayleys Canterbury.
The lodge is being sold as a going concern – with all furniture, fittings Manchester, and marketing collateral included in the offering.
“It’s a business model which has seen the enterprise thrive while allowing its owners to enjoy a balanced work-life revenue stream.”
On top of being a destination resort, the lodge also gets a lot of bookings from the nearby lakes and rivers.
