Dunedin Leisure Lodge is set to join the Heritage Hotel Group effective from 1 May 2019.

“We are delighted to welcome this respected and well-established hotel to our group. Dunedin is a city we have wanted to be represented in strategically for some time, but we were just waiting for the right property and now we have it,” said Graham Yan, chief executive officer, Heritage Hotel Management Ltd.

“There are also many synergies in the corporate, leisure and meetings market we operate in that will align well with Heritage Dunedin Leisure Lodge’s target markets.”

Opened in 1978, Heritage Dunedin Leisure Lodge was designed by the architects Warren and Mahoney.

It is located on Duke Street, near the CBD and within walking distance of Forsyth Barr Stadium and the Botanic Gardens.

The hotel has 76 rooms, two conference facilities on-site, and the McGavins Restaurant and Bar. The property is Qualmark four-star-rated and offers free car parking, Sky TV and WiFi.
