In a partnership the Auckland Art Fair, Hotel Grand Windsor is displaying a collection of artworks from ten prominent local artists in the hotel.
Louise McRae, Rupert Herring and Wanda Gillespie are among the artists on display in the hotel’s lobby and Cooke’s Bar area until 10 May.
It is the second year the hotel has partnered with the Auckland Art Fair.
“We have a long history of celebrating art, architecture and design at this property so it’s very exciting to see the delight and intrigue our guests experience as they come up close to such a diverse collection of art,” said Christopher Dickinson, general manager, Hotel Grand Windsor.
Dickinson said the pop-up is designed to attract the attention of not just guests but also local Aucklanders.
