A fire broke out at the laundry of the Distinction Luxmore Hotel Te Anau last Sunday.
Two local fire brigades were called out, as were two more units from nearby stations in Manapouri and Mossburn. The fire had, however, been controlled before the Mossburn brigade arrived.
Having been called out at 8.10am, the fire was extinguished, and fire services had departed by 9.30am.
While the cause of the fire is unknown, the blaze is not being treated as suspicious.
