Quest Apartment Hotel Group is not showing any signs of slowing down. The group is opening a new Quest hotel in Tauranga this August, and has announced a newly contracted Quest Takapuna in Auckland’s North Shore.
The mixed-use development includes 51 Quest keys and seven high-end residential apartments and commercial suites.
The Takapuna hotel has been designed specifically to take advantage of the local population’s growing specialist medical needs and the area’s commercial activity.
The development group Baird secured the site in June 2018 before partnering with Quest.
“After searching to locate the right Quest facility in Takapuna for over 10 years, I am delighted we are able to bring the first branded accommodation facility to sit within the Takapuna commercial environment, especially at such an exciting time of growth and commercial upturn in the area,” said Stephen Mansfield, NZ CEO, Quest Apartment and Hotels.
Construction is expected to begin in October 2019 with completion anticipated in late 2020.
