Langham Hospitality Group has opened its first Cordis resort, Cordis, Dongqian Lake, Ningbo.

The Chinese resort is inspired by its location at Dongqian Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in the Zhejiang province.
With over 1,200 years of history, the new property provides guests with panoramic views of the area, creating a luxurious and authentic experience.
“With the beautiful grounds, stunning villas and our signature heartfelt service, we believe that Cordis Dongqian Lake will be the perfect choice for family gatherings, romantic escapades, corporate team-building and incentive trips.”
The resort will feature 328 guest rooms and villas designed by Allied Architects International. The designers were inspired by local villages and the area’s natural landscape. Overall, the resort reflects the Zheijan province’s traditional architecture, using natural elements of wood, stone tiles, and bamboo.
Multi-tiered waterfalls, winding pathways, garden pavilions, and floral beds are all keys to the design.
However, the 18 villa complexes are the highlight of the property. Each villa features its own landscaped courtyard, a two bedroom suite, and four individual rooms.
