Eichardt’s Private Hotel owners open new luxury villas

Imperium Collection, owners of Queenstown’s Eichardt’s Private Hotel, have opened three new villas near Coronet Peak ski field.

The Elms on Lake Hayes, designed by Patterson Architects, sits beside Lake Hayes just 100 metres from the Amisfield vineyard.

There are two three-bedroom villas and a four-bedroom option, each with about 300-square-metres of space.

“The Elms on Lake Hayes is the answer to a niche but growing market of affluent travellers who value exclusivity and privacy more than just material opulence,” said Andrew Cox, owner, Imperium Collection.

The Elms on Lake Hayes boasts a huge outdoor space with patio fireplaces, daybeds, and hot tubs for guests’ relaxation.

Making the most of its location, the villas will provide guests with helicopter sightseeing and skiing tours to previously inaccessible areas.

“This is a whole new level of tourism. With only three villas, and each carefully curated to ensure uninterrupted comfort, it is no surprise that our first booking came from Hollywood royalty,” said James Cavanagh, general manager, Eichardt’s Private Hotel.
