Emerging Star Award for Russell holiday park manager

Einnee Facey

Einnee Facey, park manager of the Russell TOP 10 Holiday Park, has received the 2019 Holiday Parks Emerging Star Award.

The award is presented to a holiday park professional under the age of 35 who showcases their passion and commitment to the holiday park industry and their community.

Facey won the award for her leadership of the Russell TOP 10 Holiday Park team, and her dedication to making sure all visitors have a great experience at the property.

Facey joined the team in Russell in 2016 as a receptionist after a few years working in the banking and finance sector. Within six months at the holiday park she was promoted to assistant manager, and only a year after that she became park manager.

Daniel Tilton, CEO of Next Generation Holiday Parks, which owns Russell TOP 10 Holiday Parks praised Facey’s leadership.

“Staff satisfaction is high, staff turnover is low, and it shows in the consistency of experience that is delivered to park guests,” said Daniel Tilton, CEO, Next Generation Holiday Parks.

Fergus Brown, chief executive of Holiday Parks New Zealand, also commended Facey’s devotion to her work.

“Einnee has a passion for the holiday park industry and shows a deep commitment to delivering world-class customer experience. She goes out of her way to ensure every customer feels special and leaves with a smile on their face,” said Fergus Brown, chief executive, Holiday Parks New Zealand.

“Einnee has the sort of dedication and enthusiasm you wish you could bottle and give to all your staff.”

As a prize for winning the award, Facey will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the upcoming New Zealand Holiday Parks Conference to network with other holiday park operators around the country.
