The new 86-room Sudima Christchurch City hotel has officially opened.
The hotel’s international marketing push will begin next week.
It is the first new-build hotel since the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes.
The hotel had initially planned to be finished last year, but midway through construction it was upgraded, and plans were set back.
Sudima is currently just in New Zealand but has plans to build abroad in Australia and Fiji.
