MAN ARRESTED FOR NEGATIVE HOTEL REVIEW

Police in Florida have reportedly arrested a man who used threatening language for a hotel in Cocoa Beach.

40-year-old Joseph McKinney had allegedly made reference to an "active shooter-style" event at the hotel in his negative review of the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront Hotel, alongside other instances of threatening language.

Authorities initially responded to the hotel last Friday. Unaware of McKinney's location, authorities reportedly stayed the night at the hotel. McKinney was reported by WFTV to have been taken into custody after departing a cruise ship that had recently returned to Port Canaveral on Sunday morning.

McKinney has reportedly been charged with making written threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism. He is being held on US$25,000 bail.
