From the makes of Mount Michael Wines, The Mountaineer has launched its first-ever collection of artisan wines. Included in the range are this second vintage Pinot Noir, a Pinot Gris, and a Pinot Rose. Each drop in the new range has been carefully handcrafted to provide that exquisite Central Otago boutique for all to enjoy.
This drop contains premium grapes sourced from a single Bendigo site, selected for its bright fruit and balance. Extended time in French Oak has resulted in a wine that is bursting with dark cherry, thyme and spice.
Jody Pagey, head winemaker at Mount Michael Wines, said, “As a small and passionate team, we all feel incredibly proud to be introducing our debut collection, which is already causing quite the stir, receiving a handful of prestigious accolades from some of New Zealand’s most recognised wine reviewers and wine awards.”
