TEA WITH A VIEW

Vue Restaurant, situated in the Grand Mercure Auckland, has launched a decadent high tea experience.

Positioned above Customs Street with city and ocean views, High Tea by Vue is available on Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm.

“From the tea trolley to the bird-cage stand, and pastry items with a twist and Bellini, tehre’s an Instagrammable moment in every bite,” said executive chef Daniel Na.

Na has joined forces with head pastry chef Jono Bertrand to construct a gourmet three-tiered stand of modern High Tea cuisine. An assortment of petite sandwiches, freshly baked fluffy scones served with jam and cream, contemporary pastries, and savoury canapés while sipping on premium Savage & Noble loose leaf teas.
