BIODEGRADABLE IN-FLIGHT MEAL PACKAGING

Industrial design studio PriestmanGoode’s guilt-free concept for the aviation industry seeks to eliminate single-use plastic from in-flight meals.

Instead of the traditional plastic forks, trays, and excess packaging, PriestmanGoode’s design utilises natural materials that are aesthetically attractive as well as environmentally friendly.

Ground coffee beans and rice husk are the building blocks of the product, designed as part of a sustainability-focused exhibition at the Design Museum in London entitled Get Onboard: Reduce. Reuse. Rethink.
