Hamilton will soon welcome a new hotel in one of the city's historic main street buildings.
Formerly occupied by the Sudima Hamilton Hotel, the heritage-status building on the corner of Victoria Street and Collingwood Street dates back to 1876 and will soon house a newly refurbished collection of 69 guest rooms and suites.
Days Hotel & Suites Hamilton will receive a complete renovation and rebuild of the ground floor facilities, as well as a restructuring of the floors above into separate wings of rooms. The changes to the building have been designed by Christchurch-based Dalman Architects.
The property will be the first in the city managed by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and is set to open in December.
