Multiple staff changes have been made in major positions at Heritage Hotels.
Firstly, Leon Mascarenhas has been appointed as the new operations manager for the Heritage Collection, based in the Auckland. Leon’s hospitality career began in Mumbai where he worked as the assistant manager at the Grand Hyatt. Since moving to Auckland he has worked at SkyCity and Stamford Plaza. After a while he left to work in Thailand, but after a year returned to Auckland, where he most recently worked at the Adina Apartment Hotel.
Over at the Heritage Collection Malborough Vintners Hotel, Blenheim, French chef Arnaud Mallet has joined the team. A classically trained French chef with experience working in multiple restaurants in France, Mallet is a keen hunter-gatherer who is looking forward to utilising Malborough’s ingredients in his cooking.
