DRY JULY AT SHERWOOD QUEENSTOWN

Dry July has begun, and Sherwood Queenstown is offering a treat to diners participating in the alcohol-free challenge or wanting to try something a little different.

The restaurant has partnered with Seedlip - the world’ first non-alcoholic spirit - to create a non-alcoholic pairing menu, designed by chef Kane Bambery and bar manager Anna Poole.

The pairing menu includes four courses, consistent with Seedlip’s high culinary values, including produce grown from its garden as well as locally sourced seasonal southern ingredients.

“We are very excited to showcase what we do here at Sherwood beside Seedlip. We infuse a lot of our own spirits, house ferments and preserves feature in many of our cocktails as well as cold press juices from our own garden produce. That is why the ethos behind Seedlip fits so well with Sherwood,” said Hayley Scott, general manager of food and beverage at Sherwood.

The Seedlip non-alcoholic pairing menu is also available at MASU by Nic Watt, the contemporary Japanese restaurant in Auckland’s Federal Street.
