The new Mercure Hotel in Pakenham, Victoria, is set to open its doors in September 2022.
Featuring 64 guestrooms and suites with a modern lounge and cafe area, Mercure Pakenham will also be home to a new restaurant and business services with conference, function and boardroom facilities. In addition, guests can take advantage of high-speed complimentary Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art streaming services.
Nestled within the Pakenham Race Club Precinct, Mercure Pakenham offers a contemporary stay with easy access to all that Pakenham has to offer. From the famous Cardinia Club, Pakenham CBD, Cardinia Cultural Centre and train station, the new hotel will create a dynamic entertainment precinct offering dining, accommodation, conferences and functions.
Recently, Pakenham and the Cardinia Shire have experienced rapid growth, making Mercure Pakenham a valuable asset to help support this movement with highly-demanded accommodation.
"We are proud to introduce the wonderful new Mercure Pakenham hotel to the local community. Pakenham has been in need of an accommodation facility, and we are excited to deliver it," said Dale Bainbridge, Mercure Pakenham Managing Director.
"We opened our online bookings for the hotel earlier this year and have been amazed by the strong demand so far."
Mercure Pakenham will be launched in partnership with Dale Bainbridge and mark the third hotel that he has partnered with Accor on in Australia.
"Holding appeal for both leisure and business travellers, Mercure Pakenham will provide incredible guest experiences. The hotel has been tailored to suit travellers who value quality accommodation, great dining options and leading design," added Sarah Derry, Accor Pacific Chief Executive Officer.
"It's no wonder the Mercure hotel brand is Australia's largest and fastest-growing global midscale brand. With its genuine warmth and personalised service, the popularity of Mercure Pakenham is assured."
