Tasmania’s largest hotel operator, Accor Pacific, has been named the Official Accommodation Partner of the 2023 Ten Days on the Island Festival. The Festival will send attendees on a road trip across Lutruwita and Tasmania from 10-19 March.

Lindy Hume, Ten Days Artistic Director, expressed their excitement in partnering with Accor.
“Our 2023 program connects audiences to global, national, and local artists in urban and regional spaces right across Lutruwita/Tasmania, and we are delighted that visitors and locals alike can choose from a wonderful array of well-appointed Accor hotels to add to their festival experience.”
Starting in the state’s south, the Festival will head north and end with a grand finale in the northwest. With much to do and see, the Festival includes mapali, Sunset Gathering, a free and family-friendly celebration on the banks of the river at Devonport at sunset. The site is significant to the First Nations people, where saltwater meets fresh.

“The 2023 Ten Days program abounds with epic themes, Gods, myths, water stories, life and death, a celebration of our shared humanity, and all things rebellious, daring and vital,” detailed Hume.
With ten hotels in Tasmania, Accor has a range of hotels from luxury to economy catering to every budget, including recognised brands such as Mövenpick, Peppers, Mantra, Novotel and ibis Styles.
Recently opened in October 2022, Novotal Devonport is humbled to be an Official Program Partner for the Festival.
CEO of Accor Pacific, Sarah Derry, welcomed the partnership with Tasmanian hotels.
“We are thrilled to have our Tasmanian hotels partner with Ten Days on the Island, which is the only festival in Tasmania that continues to visit every corner of the state,” Derry said. “The Festival plays a crucial role in celebrating arts and culture and is a great boost for the Tasmanian travel industry.”
