Explora Journeys has appointed PEPR Agency for Australia and New Zealand to raise brand awareness of its new luxury lifestyle ocean travel brand. It has a unique proposition to connect travellers with the ocean, themselves and the environment.
Privately owned by the MSC Group, a fleet of up to six ships will be created under the Explora Journeys brand by 2028, with EXPLORA I to launch in July 2023.
EXPLORA I has been built at Fincantieri in Italy and features 461 all-oceanfront suites, 11 culinary experiences across six restaurants and 12 bars, a 1,000 sqm spa and four pools.
At 248m in length, EXPLORA I exudes a modern, cosmopolitan boutique hotel vibe, with a guest-host ratio of 1.25 to one and suites starting at 35 metres squared.
Explora Journeys was created from a long-held vision to redefine the ocean experience and create its own category. Guests are offered a chance to experience the Ocean State of Mind, a mindset achieved when customers escape to the ocean, relax, create memories, and reconnect with what matters most.
Explora Journeys offers the perfect blend of celebrated destinations and off-the-beaten-path ports, focusing on a slower pace and more time in each destination to ensure guests can get under the skin of the local culture and environment whilst not leaving their mark on the destination.
“We are delighted to represent such a sophisticated brand. Explora Journeys has strong hospitality, design and sustainability values that the agency team strongly aligns with. Focusing on small and understated ships, we will share a narrative of new levels of ocean travel sophistication,” said PEPR Agency’s director Philip Engelberts.
EXPLORA I’s maiden season will travel around the Norwegian Fjords, the Arctic Circle, the UK, Ireland, northern Europe and Greenland, the US East Coast, Canada, and the Caribbean.
The brand, headquartered in Geneva, has appointed Nicole Costantin as its VP/Head of Sales for Asia Pacific.
Agency Partner Anna Mansfield and Account Manager Charlotte Buckley will manage the account, with the support of Account Coordinator Emma Bracey.
