Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, recently ranked as one of the ‘best places to stay in the world for 2023’ by TripAdvisor, has unveiled the first look of its resort transformation following the completion of the first phase of its multi-million resort refurbishment.
The enhancements commenced in October 2022, transforming the iconic resort into a modern beachfront oasis and updating the property’s rooms, suites, and communal areas. The traditional Fijian style in which the resort was designed initially will be maintained and elevated across aspects of the renovation.
Located on the Coral Coast, OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort comprises 253 rooms and suites on 40 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with lush tropical gardens and sweeping oceanfront views.
Phase One of the refurbishment comprised 16 renovated premium Bures and the creation of a new ‘Premium Ocean View’ room category, consisting of 46 original ‘Lagoon Wing’ rooms.
The newly transformed Premium Ocean View rooms, located in the heart of the resort, feature a contemporary design and exquisite ocean views, which are complimented by the resort’s signature Talai Butler service.
Phase Two of the refurbishment is currently underway. It will be completed in stages, with the upgrades in the main accommodation wings, remaining Bures and selected public areas, including the main buffet restaurant and lobby.
The resort is scheduled to finish the transformation by November 2023. However, it will remain open throughout the project, carefully designed for minimal impact on the guest’s experience and resort operations.
