JW Marriott Auckland has announced the completion of its first highly anticipated room renovation with its $25 million refurbishment.
Designed by 037 Design Studio, the room includes elements of Auckland's nature and vibrant city centre to create a space that inspires guests.
Incorporating fluted glass and marble elements into the spacious rooms, the smart check-in, environmental controls, and beautiful combination of old and new preserve the legacy of the building and also redefine luxury travel.
"Embarking on a renovation of this size, and to this calibre, we have been conscious of perfecting every detail of the first room to provide a true luxury experience, perfectly tailored to visitors' needs," said Girish Talreja, General Manager of JW Marriott Auckland.
"We look forward to continuing this journey and working with local vendors and artists to curate a space that embraces and showcases the essence of New Zealand."
With tourism in New Zealand rising, the JW Marriott Auckland is set to offer a luxury experience to travellers for all their needs, with the 40 renovated rooms ready to stay by the end of this year.
