Building on its industry-leading caregiving initiative launch, Care for All, Hilton has announced the release of new mental well-being resources designed to support its global population of 450,000 team members and further destigmatise mental well-being in the workplace. As part of its 'Thrive at Hilton' platform, the initiative will support team members across its franchised and managed properties as they care for themselves and their teams.
The new resources aim to make it easier than ever for Hilton team members to find effective, flexible and accessible tools that support their mental well-being while encouraging continued conversations around topics such as burnout, time management, financial well-being, stress management, grief and loss, among others. This latest expansion marks the first time resources are available to franchise populations globally in nine languages. The design is also intentionally multi-modal, meaning team members can access immediate help when they need it or access resources over a longer period of time to build well-being and coping skills for the long term.
In partnership with leading wellbeing partners like Thrive, Spring Health, ComPsych and BetterUp, this content will be hosted on Hilton's industry-leading Care for All platform, organised around the key pillars of 'Care for Self,' 'Care for Teams,' and 'Care for Loved Ones.' Through the expansion of our Care for All resources, Hilton will continue to put team member wellbeing at the centre of its efforts to create a fully human experience at work, one where team members feel seen, heard, and understood as their true, authentic selves.
Over the course of the next 12 months, Hilton employees will have access to a suite of resources. The 'In the Moment, On-Demand Tools' programme will provide tips, articles and full-length informational videos. Live-learning webinars will be featured monthly to manage work stress and resilience while maintaining sufficient rest and managing the balance of parenting whilst working. Leadership toolkits will also be available, featuring videos and tip sheets to address managers' unique challenges in supporting their teams and well-being.
Hilton has developed a strong reputation as a purpose-driven company with a great workplace culture driven by its team members. In 2023, Great Place to Work and Fortune named Hilton the second-best company to work for in the United States, making it the top-ranked hospitality company on the list. Hilton has also been named a Great Place to Work in more than 30 countries in 2023, reaching the number one spot in eleven countries. Hilton is actively hiring for nearly 5,000 hotel job openings available globally, with levels spanning entry-level through general manager across its portfolio of brands.
