USA | Guests have been welcomed to explore the re-imagined Lobby at the Ritz Carlton hotel in St Louis following a considerable upgrade.
The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, has completed its extensive Lobby Reimagination Project, officially reopening to guests in late August.
The project, which began earlier this year, included significant enhancements to the hotel’s entrance, reception area, guest elevator landings, Lobby Lounge Bar, Sushi Bar, and iconic Grand Staircase.
Following the festivities planned to celebrate the reimagined offerings this evening, guests are invited to enjoy the Lobby experience on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Friday, August 30th.

Led by international interior design and architecture firm Parker-Torres Design and overseen by BSI Constructors, the new enhancements create a modern welcome experience for guests and visitors, blending The Ritz-Carlton brand’s signature elegance with enhanced colour palettes and contemporary furnishings.
Taking cues from the vibrant cultural history of the city and surrounding neighbourhoods, the Lobby design includes custom art reliefs inspired by the 1904 World’s Fair Flight Cages in addition to curated art and decorative accents from local artisans. Most notably, Parker-Torres re-positioned the Lobby Lounge Bar and Sushi Bar within the space, creating an optimal environment for guests looking to gather with cocktails or enjoy a more extensive dining experience.
To complement this sophisticated new interior experience, Executive Chef Yalcin Arslan and Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager Ardi Dulakuwill also debut new dining and cocktail menus for guests and visitors to enjoy. Suitable and sophisticated for any occasion or appetite, the Lobby Lounge will offer signature bite-sized appetisers, grand chilled seafood towers, decadent sandwiches, and traditional entrée selections. Sushi lovers and loyal fans will be delighted by the repositioned and gilded setting for observing the craft of the property’s talented sushi chefs.
Dulakuwill and his skilled team of beverage experts will showcase new cocktails inspired by the Spirit of St. Louis.
Keeping in mind the loyal audience for weekend entertainment, the property and designers achieved in creating a dual-purpose recessed area of the Lobby which will also serve as an illuminated backdrop for live music performances.
