Cordis, Auckland, said it was proud to announce a new partnership with Auckland Zoo, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and meaningful conservation efforts.
This collaboration will support the care of the red panda both at the Zoo and in the wild, an initiative that is especially close to the hotel’s heart, as the red panda is Cordis, Auckland’s, beloved mascot.
This partnership is a natural fit, aligning closely with Cordis, Auckland’s values of care, connection, and responsibility. It goes beyond conservation as it represents a shared vision between two iconic Auckland organisations, both committed to creating enriching experiences for all ages, promoting environmental awareness, and giving back to the community.
As part of the new partnership, Cordis, Auckland, is launching a brand-new Kids High Tea inspired by the red panda. This fun and interactive experience, served in the hotel’s elegant Chandelier Lounge, features themed treats designed to delight young guests while raising awareness for red panda conservation.
Additionally, families that book the hotel’s Family Staycation Package will receive a complimentary family pass to Auckland Zoo, allowing families to connect in nature and experience the red panda. This package is designed to create memorable local experiences and support a worthy cause.
