AUSTRALIA | A new era for Pan Pacific Perth has begun as the hotel strengthens its Senior Leadership Team and completes an extensive refurbishment.
Following an extensive hotel refurbishment and a renewed vision for growth, Pan Pacific Perth has unveiled a revitalised senior leadership team, marking a new era for one of Perth’s most iconic hotels.
The two key leadership roles include Roger Baldwin as Hotel Manager and Šárka Nejedlá as Director of People & Culture. They join newly appointed Director of Commercial, Karen Priest, a former Tourism Commissioner for Western Australia, whose strategic expertise and deep industry knowledge are helping to elevate the hotel’s commercial performance and market presence.
Together, the trio bring exceptional industry experience and a shared passion for hospitality excellence as the hotel continues its transformation.
Roger Baldwin has been promoted to Hotel Manager, effective October 1st 2025. In his former role as Director of Food and Beverage at the hotel, Roger has played a pivotal role in transforming the dining, conference, and events experiences, driving a culture of service excellence and collaboration that has elevated guest satisfaction and commercial performance. With an international career spanning Australia and Asia, he brings a wealth of operational expertise, brand development experience, and a leadership style that empowers teams to deliver exceptional results. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Pan Pacific Perth’s journey to reaffirm its position as the leading address for service excellence in Western Australia.
Šárka Nejedlá joins as Director of People & Culture from The Westin Perth, bringing extensive HR leadership experience across Marriott International’s Perth and Brisbane portfolios. A recipient of the General Manager’s Commendation Award, she is recognised for driving people-first strategies that foster engagement, development and performance. Her role reinforces the hotel’s commitment to cultivating an empowered and inclusive workplace culture.
“These executive appointments signal an inspiring new chapter for Pan Pacific Perth, underscoring our commitment to excellence as we continue to enhance every aspect of the guest experience”, said Rens Breur, General Manager of Pan Pacific Perth. “Roger, Šárka, and Karen each bring exceptional leadership, depth of expertise and a shared passion that will propel our continued evolution as one of Australia’s foremost destinations for luxury, service and hospitality.”
The appointments come as Pan Pacific Perth celebrates the completion of its highly anticipated transformation earlier this year, which reimagined its 488 guest rooms and suites, lobby, Pan Pacific Club Lounge, and expansive 2,500 square metres of conference and event spaces. With this new chapter underway, Pan Pacific Perth is poised to build upon its legacy and reaffirm its standing as a benchmark of contemporary luxury in Australia.
