The 4.5 star hotel will be recruiting for positions across all levels and in all departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, chefs and stewarding, porters and drivers, and front of house. The management team is looking for enthusiastic, reliable candidates that will enjoy an environment built around creativity, teamwork and collaboration.

“A culture of opportunity at Marriott International hotels, including Four Points by Sheraton, means that everyone has a chance to develop and excel, whatever level they come in at,” said Gallop. “A position at Four Points by Sheraton Auckland doesn’t have to be just another job – it can be an incredibly fulfilling and exciting career with the potential to take you all around the world.”

Four Points by Sheraton Auckland is Marriott International’s first hotel in New Zealand. Due to open in April 2018, the 255-room, 20-level hotel will be located on Queen Street, next to Aotea Square. The hotel will offer an all-day restaurant, lounge and bar, free WiFi for guests, around 500 square metres of conference and meeting space, and a fitness centre.

Two highlights of the hotel will be the rooftop bar with panoramic views of Auckland city and the refurbished Queen’s Head Tavern. These venues will feature fresh, seasonal menus that celebrate local produce, complemented with a wide range of craft beers and artisan wines.
