In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is spotlighting the importance of holistic health with a complimentary session of Sunrise Yoga for in-house guests as well as wellness seekers in Jakarta on 15 October 2022.
“The breast cancer awareness movement supports the fighters, respects the survivors, and honours the taken. By joining this invaluable initiative, we aim to lend our voice to the most important message of all – to never give up hope,” said General Manager Simon Barnett.
The special event will be taught by acclaimed yoga practitioner Michelle Adelena Pudjiadi, with more than 500 hours of accredited teacher training under her belt – the highest international standard for yoga instructors.
Guests are invited to join the poolside yoga session from 6 to 7:30 am, followed by a healthy breakfast specially prepared by the Four Seasons culinary team. Early morning is the ideal time to practice yoga, offering a wholesome way to begin the day.
“Yoga is for everyone. It can change your life not just physically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually,” shared Pudjiadi. “Your practice on the mat teaches you how to find comfort in uncomfortable situations, even in your daily life. It helps you learn that, no matter what your current strength or flexibility, wherever you are is wherever you need to be.”
Specialising in Iyengar, Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, Pudjiadi is also a long-distance marathon runner, a certified raw vegan chef and an advocate for plant-based, whole-foods diets. Her remarkable fitness credentials extend from the sky to the sea, including a USPA Solo Skydiver license and a PADI Rescue Diver certification.
