Mandarin Oriental has continued its global expansion into new destinations, with Florence, Sardinia and Marbella joining its portfolio.

Mandarin Oriental’s curated collection of the world’s finest private vacation homes announces a significant expansion, welcoming ten homes to its global portfolio, now comprising 35 Exceptional Homes across 14 sought-after destinations. These additions mark an important milestone in the evolution of the collection, introducing Florence, Sardinia and Marbella as entirely new locations, alongside further expansion in Puglia.

Florence joins the collection for the first time with Villa Petrucci, an elegant private retreat set within the historic Renaissance city. Framing sweeping views across Florence while offering secluded gardens and a private pool, the unique home combines cultural immersion with discreet luxury. Its interiors, completed following a five-year restoration led by acclaimed architect and designer Massimo Adario, draw inspiration from Florence’s architectural legacy, and reinterpret it through a refined contemporary lens.

The expansion also includes Villa Marzia in Sardinia, a rare beachfront property with direct coastal access and uninterrupted sea views on one of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after islands.

In southern Italy, the portfolio further strengthens its presence in Puglia with the addition of two authentic trulli, Trullo delle Dame and Trullo dei Pumi. Each has been thoughtfully restored to honour the region’s architectural heritage while delivering contemporary comfort and privacy.

Marbella remains a key growth destination for the collection, marked by the introduction of six new, design-led villas. Each property has been curated for its refined aesthetic and its expression of modern Andalusian living. Among the new additions are villas set in Nueva Andalucía’s Golf Valley, including frontline positions overlooking the prestigious Las Brisas Golf Club.

Each Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Home is individually and privately owned and has been meticulously selected for its desirable location, design, and ability to deliver Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service, including a dedicated concierge to curate tailored itineraries, a private chef service to craft bespoke menus, daily housekeeping, and luxurious amenities.

This latest expansion reflects Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes’ ambitious growth strategy, with continued focus on broadening its geographic reach while maintaining an uncompromising approach to quality and service for today’s discerning traveller.

“As the portfolio evolves, our focus remains on purposeful growth; introducing new destinations that broaden our global reach while preserving the intimacy, discretion and exceptional service our guests expect,” said Philip Leighton, Head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes.

“This next phase reflects both the strength of the collection and our ambition for its continued expansion.”
