Artisan Hotel Boutique Making Significant Changes in L.A

Artisan Hotel

A new cannabis-friendly hotel is set to open on the Las Vegas Strip. Artisan Hotel Boutique decided to join the mix of other venues where customers can enjoy various cannabis products within its vicinity.

The sale of cannabis from licensed retail outlets was legalised for recreational and medicinal use on 1 January 2018, but it is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 and is strictly regulated for businesses and buyers.

Alex Rizk, CEO of Elevation Hotels and Resorts, explained how it is time to embrace the new while still paying homage to the history of Artisan.

“Hopefully, we can bring back what the Artisan once was. One of our goals is to de-stigmatise the use of cannabis in the proper areas,” he said. “So, we are following and will follow the local laws, even though some of our hotels will have more flexibility depending on where they are.”

The Artisan Hotel Boutique is currently undergoing a cannabis-inclusive rebranding, scheduled to open in spring with a new name, Lexi Hotel. The 64-room hotel will be open to cannabis enjoyers and others who don’t partake in allocated areas throughout the property.

Rizk stated that they want to feature a pot lounge, yet applications must be processed through Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board before that can come to fruition.

“We’re still working with a few things there. But it’s going to be a strong goal of ours to make it happen.”

The newly-branded resort will feature an exclusive members-only lounge, chapel and event centre. Lexi Hotel is expected to open on 1 April 2023.
