A pop-up restaurant themed to the 1980s sitcom ‘The Golden Girls’ is set to open in San Francisco next month. The restaurant is due to open on April 26th 2023.
Reservations have just become available for guests which start at $40 USD, offering a range of experiences including a table for two in the Golden Girls kitchen.
Every meal served at the restaurant will include a meal, specifically an entree, main, and a slice of cheesecake, with the menu offering selections themed to the popular characters on the show. Sophia’s Lasagne Al Forno, The Rose Marie Soup and Salad Combo, and a selection of sweets from St. Olaf (the hometown of character Rose Nyland.)
This is not the first time a pop-up restaurant has opened its doors in San Francisco, with a successful ‘Friends’ restaurant enlightening guests for a limited time in 2019.
After the San Francisco run, the pop-up will head to Chicago in May, followed by Miami later in the year, which is where the television show was set.
