Booking.com has appointed Todd Lacey as Regional Manager for Oceania with effect from April.
With over ten years of experience in the travel industry and eight years with the company, Lacey will lead Booking.com’s strategic plan for growth across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Lacey has been part of the Booking.com team since 2015, most recently as interim Area Manager for South Korea for the past nine months. Prior to this he was the Area Manager for New Zealand, and has also managed teams across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
Throughout his experience with Booking.com, Lacey said he has enjoyed working with company partners and managing day-to-day and strategic relationships, both locally and Internationally.

“Despite being one of the last markets to open following the pandemic, Oceania has accelerated rapidly and is now at the forefront of Asia-Pacific travel recovery. Many of the latest trends in travel, from alternative accommodations, innovations in sustainability and technology are led by our region,” said Lacey.
Lacey said that the strength of demand from travellers last year, as well as major global events being held in the Oceania region as being encouraging steps to attract tourists back.
“We believe this speaks to our local and global consumers’ strong desire to travel throughout Oceania using Booking.com when booking their travel, from hotels, alternative accommodations, flights, car rentals, taxis and attractions.”
Lacey is a keen traveller personally, and particularly enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines within Asia-Pacific. From the bustling cities of Tokyo and Bangkok to the serenity of Bali, Lacey is drawn to the diversity of experiences and landscapes that can be found in this region.
