Tapping into the wellness tourism trend, projected to enjoy average annual growth of 20.9 percent by 2025, ParkRoyal has launched an Eco-Wellness Programme to inspire conscious living and personal wellness. Known for its commitment to sustainable hospitality that reconnects with nature, the brand’s signature programme presents a range of experiences driven by the five senses.
“Today’s consumers are growing more aware of the importance of better health and well-being. We must take time to re-centre and practise greater mindfulness,” said Cinn Tan, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
“Even small changes in our daily lives can greatly impact our well-being and the environment. Through ParkRoyal Collection’s Eco-Wellness experiences, we hope to inspire our guests to live well without compromising the environment.”
As part of its multi-sensorial programme, Eco-Wellness includes a biophilic sound design, optimising art appreciation to promote well-being, St Gregory spa experience and wellness activities, conscious dining and mindful drinking, restful sleep and brand signature scent; a balanced blend of a rosebush, lavender, green vetiver and warm white cedarwood to greet all who enter with a calming atmosphere.
Restful sleep, fundamental to optimal health, can be achieved through natural aromatic herbs, which will be freshly harvested from their Urban Farm and offered as part of the Sleep Ritual turndown service. This amenity, available for guests staying in Collection Club Rooms, higher categories, and Titanium and Platinum members of Pan Pacific Discovery, includes a scented pillow pouch created in partnership with FLO, specialising in natural essential oils and herb-scented products.
To promote guilt-free eating and drinking, the hotel has curated a selection of dishes for the exo-wellness dining experience. These dishes will be prepared from locally sourced fresh produce and farm-to-table harvests. Accompanying them is a cocktail and mocktail made with freshly picked ingredients from the hotel’s Urban Farm.
The brand also welcomes new Urban Farms at ParkRoyal Collections at Pickering and Kuala Lumpur, joining the one at Marina Bay, as they will supply each hotel with unique farm-to-table, farm-to-bar and farm-to-spa experiences.
As a pioneer of sustainable hospitality, Pan Pacific Hotels Group is paving the way for an eco-friendly future throughout its portfolio, led by green, innovative design and practices.
