The Quest Apartment Hotels, New Zealand, is an independently owned and operated accommodation group that opened its 41st property in the country. This comes after the opening of the Quest Hastings just last week.
According to Adrian Turner, Chief Operating Officer, this growth has been planned for a while and is the second of three properties opening in 2023.
"Quest has worked incredibly hard to manage the relationships with our landlords, supporting local partners, and focusing on the needs of the corporate travel market," said Turner. "The opening of Quest Hastings will support all of our existing corporate clients as well as open up the opportunity for new clients to experience the Quest boutique apartment hotels."
Located at 304 Eastbourne Street East, the new site sits just behind Toitoi, just over 3km from the hospital and 300m from the library. In the city's heart, Quest Hastings is ideally located to serve anyone visiting Hawkes Bay and will be operated by Scott & Sonia Belingham.
"After gaining valuable experience as a property manager with Quest in Australia and New Zealand, I set my sights on becoming a franchisee. So when the chance to operate a brand new property in Hastings presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity," said Scott Belingham. "As a franchisee, I am excited to continue providing exceptional service to guests while utilising my business skills to ensure the property's success."
Quest will open Quest on Cambridge Terrace, its third property in Christchurch, in November 2023.
