Four Seasons

An inviting winter atmosphere prevails inside the Hotel, bestowing the sensation of a refined private residence. Perfect for couples or families, the rooms and suites artfully blend traditional and contemporary décor and boast stunning lake views.

At Michelin-starred restaurant Il Lago, Chef Massimiliano Sena has created seasonal Italian dishes with a contemporary twist, sharing plates in a classically styled dining room featuring soft blue palettes. Trendy rooftop restaurant Izumi will serve inventive Nikkei cuisine with subtle Peruvian influences and unexpected flavour combinations on a panoramic terrace offering gorgeous views of the city skyline and Lake Geneva.

Spread out over the top three floors is Spa Mont Blanc, a sanctuary of serenity offering a range of treatments thoughtfully curated to pamper even the family's youngest members. The Spa’s most pioneering treatment is the Haute Couture Dr Burgener Switzerland ritual, resulting from five years of thorough research. The treatment brings an entirely novel, pioneering approach to anti-aging skincare with an ultra-personalised, made-to-measure package combining technology, skin analysis, cosmetic care and facials to offer long-lasting results.

The only hotel in Megève to offer direct access to the slopes, Four Seasons Hotel Megève is a cosy alpine hideaway perfect for couples and families. With a strong Rothschild family heritage, the village of Megève has retained its authentic character, with cobbled lanes home to fine delis and shops selling local crafts.

On the slopes of Megève is Idéal 1850, a lunchtime institution located at 1850 metres (6,070 feet) and accessible only by cable car. Within this chic alpine setting lies Megève’s most exclusive retreat – Suite Idéal. Spread out over 100 square metres (1,000 square feet), this sophisticated suite combines traditional alpine architecture with contemporary flair, wooden motifs and exposed ceiling beams, adding a chic, rustic touch. Walls are adorned with works of art carefully selected by Baroness Ariane de Rothschild while sweeping vistas of the snow-capped mountains offer an awe-inspiring backdrop. Guests staying in the Ideal Suite benefit from the services of a dedicated butler who will take care of every aspect of their stay.

Upon arrival in Megève, guests will be welcomed at Four Seasons Hotel Megève, where they can enjoy lunch at one of the Hotel restaurants or unwind with a relaxing Spa treatment (both available at an additional cost). From 3:00 p.m. onwards, guests will enjoy a 15-minute cable car up to Restaurant Ideal with their dedicated butler. Come evening, and guests will indulge in an exquisite dinner for two featuring delectable Savoyard specialities accompanied by French wines carefully selected by Head Sommelier Samy Sbity. After their dining experience, guests can step onto the expansive panoramic terrace, the perfect backdrop for stargazing with a telescope.

The following morning, breakfast is served as the sun rises over Mont Blanc and the Aravis mountain range. Suite Idéal’s location on the slopes means guests enjoy the privilege of being the first to set foot on the ski slopes. With the expert guidance of the resident butler, guests can embark on an exhilarating adventure across freshly blanketed snow. Alternatively, they can enjoy a more leisurely descent with a snowshoe trek across pine-shaded forests (ski passes and ski equipment can be provided at an additional cost). The Hotel offers a range of other exhilarating activities for those with a zest for exploration, from dog sledding and snowmobiling to helicopter and hot air balloon rides.
