Key Partnerships for THAIFEX – HOREC

Koelnmesse, an international leader in organising food fairs and one of the organisers of THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024, has announced key partnerships with a series of world-class integrated properties, including Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (AWC). This landmark collaboration with Thailand’s leading integrated lifestyle real estate group underscores THAIFEX – HOREC Asia’s pivotal role as the region's premier HoReCa event platform.

Making its global debut from March 6-8, 2024, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand, THAIFEX – HOREC Asia is set to attract global brands across the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors.

AWC brings to the table an impressive portfolio of properties in the hospitality, retail, and commercial sectors. World-class brands under its management include 22 luxury and MICE hotels such as Marriott, and Sheraton and commercial properties such as AEC Food Wholesale Pratunam in the heart of Bangkok. AWC coming on board THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2024 creates new avenues for networking, elevating brand recognition, and stimulating business growth.

THAIFEX – HOREC Asia’s AWC partnership announcement is further boosted by the addition of Dusit International, Minor Hotels and Centara, underscoring its strategic commitment to fortifying THAIFEX – HOREC Asia’s Hosted Buyer Programme in its inaugural launch in March 2024. This curated program anticipates 500 hosted buyers, facilitating in-person meetings that match top-quality buyers with international exhibitors and fostering valuable connections and partnerships.

“AWC’s illustrious track record in nurturing the hospitality and catering industry shines through its impressive portfolio, featuring prestigious hotel groups like Marriott Hotels, The Luxury Collection, Le Méridien, Banyan Tree, Hilton, to list just a few. This strategic collaboration comes at a pivotal moment, aligning perfectly with the inaugural THAIFEX – HOREC Asia in March 2024. Together with our other leading hospitality partners, such as Dusit Thani, we will significantly bolster our Hosted Buyer Programme, opening doors to invaluable opportunities for exhibitors, association partners, and key industry players in the HoReCa sector,” said Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and VP Asia-Pacific of Koelnmesse.

Wallapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and President of AWC, said that AWC’s collaboration with THAIFEX – HOREC Asia is a timely alliance in unlocking growth opportunities with the HoReCa industry.

"We will combine THAIFEX – HOREC Asia’s unparalleled trade fair expertise, expansive international network, and global insights with AWC’s extensive knowledge and experience in hospitality and integrated lifestyle sectors. This synergy will empower us to develop and implement the transformative solutions needed to shape an innovative, sustainable future for each stakeholder in the ecosystem,” said Traisorat.

THAIFEX – HOREC Asia is scheduled to take place from March 6 to 8, 2024, at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. As a highly specialised HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, and catering) trade show, it will convene the largest assembly of industry professionals in Southeast Asia.

The event will feature a comprehensive range of innovative solutions across nine major segments: Bakery & Ice-cream, Café and Bar, Cleaning and Laundry, Dining, Furnishing, Kitchen, Services, Tech, and Wellness. Additionally, critical supporting programs, including a Hosted Buyer Programme, are poised to host over 500 top buyers from Asia, facilitating efficient networking and potential business partnerships.
