Coyuchi, an innovator in luxury sustainable living, has proudly announced a significant expansion of its eco-friendly programme where consumers can recycle linens.

The programme, called 2nd Home Renewed, is in partnership with Bleckmann, a market leader in supply chain management services, and Recuratem, a pioneer in resale solutions.

Together, they hope to revolutionise the circular shopping experience for its valued customers.

The 2nd Home Renewed programme will allow customers to send in previously bought organic home linens for recycling. The previous collaboration between Coyuchi and Bleckmann has diverted over 165,046 pounds of textile waste from landfills.

Since its inception in 2017, 2nd Home Renewed has set the industry standard. It allows customers to breathe new life into pre-loved Coyuchi items while diverting textiles from the waste stream.

This collaboration underscores Coychi’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and marks a pivotal step towards minimising its ecological footprint.

“Coyuchi’s foundation rests upon a steadfast commitment to sustainability,” said Marcus Chung, COO at Coyuchi.

“Through our partnership with Bleckmann and Recurate, we seamlessly integrate 2nd Home Renewed into our primary e-commerce platform, enhancing the customer journey and deepening our dedication to a circular business model.”

The company has planned to leverage Bleckham’s profound expertise in supply chain management and circularity services to ensure the meticulous execution of a six-stage certification process. This will guarantee adherence to the highest quality standards essential for resale.

“It is rewarding to see the evolution of Bleckmann’s services towards a circular supply chain, with the partnership launch between Recurate for Coyuchi’s 2ndHome resale online and Bleckmann,” said Nicole Bassett, circularity leader of Bleckmann’s.

“Our focus is now on operational and logistical processes for brands, enabling a broader strategy for resale. Our integration strategy allows us to expand resale to stores, white-label websites, brand websites, or on marketplaces.”

This partnership will allow Coyuchi, Bleckmanns and Recurate to redefine customer engagement with products, fostering a symbiotic relationship between the planet and its inhabitants.
