Novotel Sydney Appoints General Manager

Novotel Sydney Darling Square has announced the appointment of Andrew Hills as its new General Manager.

In addition to leading the Novotel property, he will also manage its adjoining venue, Pumphouse Sydney. 

As the new General Manager, Hills is committed to leveraging the Darling Square precinct’s work and life locale and will ensure the continued financial success of the property.

He will also uphold the high level of team morale and guest experience that Novotel Sydney Darling Square is known for.

Hills brings with him an esteemed background in hotel management, having been with Accor for over 26 years. 

During this time, he has held the role of General Manager at a myriad of properties across New South Wales, including Mercure Penrith, Mercure Sydney Parramatta, ibis Sydney Darling Harbour and most recently, Novotel Sydney Central. 

“I am extremely excited to be a part of the Novotel Sydney Darling Square and Pumphouse Sydney team,” said Hills.

These properties have historic significance due to how they were initially built by Sydney and Suburban Hydraulic Power Company in 1891. 

The hotel is renowned for its cutting-edge guest offerings and strategic partnerships with local shows and events within the Darling Square precinct, promising guests a unique and exciting experience.
